Connect Jira to turn validated findings into tracked work in your team’s planning tool. Configure it in Settings > Jira.

Connect

1

Authorize Jira

Click Connect and complete the Jira OAuth flow. You’ll return to Gecko with the connection active.
2

Choose where issues go

Select a project, and optionally a board and sprint behavior (current sprint, a specific sprint, or backlog).
3

Set issue defaults

Pick the issue type (Story, Bug, or Task), a default assignee, and any labels. Gecko always adds the gecko-vulnerability label.
4

Map statuses

Map Gecko’s statuses (Open, In progress, Fixed, False positive, Accepted risk) to your Jira workflow statuses. Gecko proposes a mapping on connect; adjust as needed.

Auto-create issues

Turn on auto-create to file a Jira issue for every finding after each scan. A project must be selected first.
Gecko warns you if the connection is incomplete: issue type and status mapping must be set before tickets can be created reliably.
Connect Jira after your team agrees on how it triages findings, so issues land in the right place instead of creating noise.
