# Linear

> Push Gecko findings into your Linear backlog with the right priority.

Connect Linear so findings move into normal backlog ownership. Configure it in
**Settings** > **Linear**.

## Connect

<Steps>
  <Step title="Authorize Linear">
    Click **Connect** and complete the Linear OAuth flow.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a team and project">
    Select the Linear **team** that should receive issues, and optionally a
    **project**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set defaults">
    Pick a **default assignee** and any **labels**. Optionally enable
    **priority mapping** so a finding's severity maps to a Linear priority.
  </Step>

## Auto-create issues

Enable **auto-create** to file a Linear issue for every finding after each scan.
A team must be selected first.

  Use priority mapping so Critical and High findings land at the top of the
  backlog automatically.
